People turned out in their thousands over the weekend to enjoy the Food, Drink and Craft Festival in Letchworth Town centre.
Saturdays entertainment had to be focused on the Arcade because of the weather. However, there was still enjoyment for all the family. The Arcade shops showed off their amazing talent with a fashion show, courtesy of Daliani’s Boutique, Pampered Pets and K & O Luggage, musical entertainment from acts such as the Letchworth Ukulele Group, food and drink from the very popular Craft & Farmers Market and family entertainment from Auntie Kitty. They all drew record crowds in to the Arcade.
As the weather improved so did the breadth and variety of entertainment. There was musical entertainment throughout Sunday with fabulous acts ranging Fragrance of Life, Max Ryan, Bianca and Garden City Samba bringing the day to a close. Throughout the town there was food and drink from a wide range of town centre businesses and local producers. Around the town there was entertainment for all with a Craft Market in the Arcade and Wynd and busking in Eastcheap.
April from Biggleswade said “I just love coming to Letchworth for these events. The local independent shops are just amazing. The town centre and local parks are so beautiful. Well done to Letchworth for another brilliant event.”
"Another brilliant weekend for Letchworth Garden City. Thank you for all the support from town centre businesses, the fabulous local entertainers and, most of all the thousands who have turned up over the weekend to enjoy our wonderful town centre."
