Letchworth Garden City is situated in North Hertfordshire, 38 miles from the heart of London and 29 miles from the centre of Cambridge. 

Letchworth is approximately 40 minutes’ drive from Luton Airport via the A505 and under an hour from Stansted Airport.

Letchworth by car

The town centre is easily accessible from junction 9 of the A1(M), which is just a 22 minute drive from junction 23 (South Mimms) of the M25.

Letchworth by train

Letchworth Garden City Railway Station is just a few minutes’ walk from the main shopping area. Fast rail services run to and from London Kings Cross up to every 15 minutes during peak times with a journey time of as little as 28 minutes. Trains to and from Cambridge run up to every 30 minutes during peak times. Services from Letchworth also link directly with Moorgate via Hertford and Enfield.
